March 11: RADFest (Midwest Regional Alternative Dance Festival). Performance of There I Go Rising. 7:00 PM.
March 15-17: VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University), Dance Department. Master Classes, Improvisation and Contemporary Dance.
April 2: Global Sounds Concert (directed by Andy McGraw) at the University of Richmond. Capoeira Angola presentation with students from Prof. Matthew Thornton’s DANC 208 course. Westhampton Green. 3 PM.
April 20: Museo y Centro de Estudios Humanísticos, Universidad del Turabo, Puerto Rico. Performance by Agua Dulce Dance Theater as closing event of the symposium El Caribe y su Diversidad / The Caribbean and Its Diversity. 6:30 PM.
April 21: Casa de Cultura Ruth Hernández Torres, Puerto Rico. Performance of Deep Listening / Voces del Mar , created and performed by Alicia Díaz with percussionist Héctor “Coco” Barez. Post-performance Conversation with the Audience facilitated by Dr. Mareia Quintero Rivera. 7:30 PM.
April 24: Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, Puerto Rico. Master Class, Improvising Identity. 10:45 AM.
May 6: Qué Pasa Festival, Richmond VA. Capoeira Angola Presentation by Agua Dulce Dance Theater in collaboration with The Latin Ballet of Virginia. Virginia Street Stage. 2:30 PM.
June 9: H-O-T Improvisation Series, produced by the Impermanent Society of Philadelphia. Curated by dance artist Loren Groenendaal and experimental percussionist Flandrew Fleisenberg, the series highlights the playful interaction between movement and sound artists as live composition. Mascher Space Co-op. 8 PM.
August 10-13: Invited to participate in the 2017 Moving 24 FPS. Moving 24FPS brings film and dance makers together to foster a collaborative community and develop new, original dance shorts in a weekend long Festival that uses dance on camera to communicate pressing issues of our time.

May 14: Performative Lecture–“Improvising Identity: Bomba as a Point of Reference Between a Contemporary Dance Artist and a Percussionist.” Music Colloquium–Puerto Rican Soundscapes: Exploring Puerto Rican Heritage Stateside Through Roots, Jazz, and Classical Music. Presented by the Center for Puerto Rican Studies at Hunter College.

July 20: Performing as Guest Artist in Maida Withers Dance Construction Company’s Glacial Drift in conjunction with the ICEBERGS installation in the National Building Museum in Washington, D.D.

October 16: Joel and Lila Harnett Museum of Art, The University of Richmond. Performance by Agua Dulce Dance Theater of changing course: the body as vessel in conjunction with the exhibit Rodin, The Human Experience: Selections from the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Collections. 1:30 PM.

November 4: VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University), Dance Department. Master Class, Improvising Identity. 9 AM.

December 2: Princeton University. Diasporic Body Grammar: An encounter of movements and words. Sponsored by the Princeton-USP Race and Citizenship in the Americas Network, the Program in Latin American Studies and the Dept. of Spanish and Portuguese. Performances by Agua Dulce Dance Theater and Companhia de Dança Antonio Nóbrega (Brazil). Conversation with the Audience facilitated by Dr. Pedro Meira and Dr. Christina Lee. Wilson College’s Black Box Theater. 2 PM.

March 28: Master Classes in Body Modalities and Contemporary Dance–Student Dance Day at Kemps Landing/Old Donation School in Virginia Beach. Organized by The Capital Region Educators of Dance Organization (CREDO), in collaboration Virginia Beach City School’s Gifted Dance Education Program.

April 23 and 25: The 2015 Richmond Dance Festival–Shared evening with RVA Dance Collective. Dogtown Dance Theater.

April 25: Joint Master Class with Jess Burgess at the Richmond Dance Festival. Dogtown Dance Theater.  9;30 AM.

April 28-30: Invited to participate in the German choreographer Johannes Wieland’s Invincible Loser Workshop. Mark Morris Dance Center, NYC.
